Our "Great Americana Adventure"

Left Maine on Wednesday morning, Nov 17th. Today is Sunday morning, Nov 21st and we are at a Super 8 motel in Kingsport, Tennessee. Should arrive at Lynn's by noon today. Had nice weather and an uneventful trip southbound. Spent Wednesday night with Steve and Cathy Priest in New Hampshire, Thursday night with Diana and Emil Lucek in Connecticutt followed by two nights in a motel.

Left the Interstate system in Front Royal, Virginia and drove along the "Skyline Drive"  the entire lenght of Shennandoah National Park (109 miles). A very scenic sidetrip along the Applachian Mountains ridge line at 3,000 feet plus elevation.

Met a Canadian gentleman from Ontario in Scranton, Pennsylvania over lunch on Friday on the way down and exchanged my 3 1/2 foot long model canoe for $xx,000. (Now I can visit Las Vegas and try to triple it)  :-)

Will add some photos soon.
